This interior studio apartment is located in 110 Hortaleza Street, close by Alonso Martínez metro. Given its location on the last floor of the building (4th floor), it is quiet and luminous, with windows over an inner courtyard. It has been recently refurbished and it’s fully equipped. The apartment has air conditioning, TV, wifi, a 1.35×1.90 bed, built-in closets and washing machine.
It is located in the heart of Madrid, between Chamberí, Malasaña and Chueca, one of the most popular areas among young people. The most bustling streets are really near, but the flat is free from the chaos of Fuencarral and Hortaleza streets, as it is located almost in the corner of Fernando VI Street.
The neighbourhood is full of cafés, restaurants, shops and florists. Barceló market is close by, as well as the Escuelas Pías sports centre, which has a large swimming pool. Gran Vía Street is a few minutes walking and the area is full of outdoor terraces (in Plaza de San Ildefonso, Plaza del Dos de Mayo, Plaza de Chueca, etc.). The area is very safe, lively and well connected to the rest of the city.

Location
Great stay. The cozy studio on calle Hortaleza has been a perfect place to complete my master’s degree. I was constantly inspired by the space, which is like a hip artist’s loft, with an original tile floor, wooden beams and large windows. The safe, convenient neighborhood has everything you need — grocery stores, clothing boutiques, friendly merchants for anything from fish to fruit, coffee shops, top restaurants, bars, etcetera. It will be REALLY hard to leave the apartment (and Madrid); I have many good memories here! –Current tenant ——-
