Galileo Street, at the level of Rodríguez San Pedro, is very close to Alberto Aguilera, where the Comillas Pontifical University (Comillas) is located, as well as Princesa Street and the Argüelles metro station. It is also close to Moncloa and the Glorieta de San Bernardo. In spite of being located in the area of Argüelles, it is also very close to the Chamberi district. The atmosphere is calm and safe, with grocery stores, bars and shops.

To Luisa. Spending 4 months at the calle Galileo apartment was fabulous. The location is perfect for getting around central Madrid with ease, and there are plenty of shops/restaurants in the neighborhood. The apartment itself is very modern, with good spacing to live in. The appliances and utilities match any thing in a typical USA city. It was easy to move in and get accustomed to the area, with timely response from the management, when we did have a few minor problems. There were positively no inconveniences to speak of… Lastly, we discovered the fabulous Green Canal park 15 min. away by foot, which is a new, huge, municipal park, including a golf range, soccer fields, a running track, padel tennis courts, etc. We even went there to get sun, on the large area near the fountains…just another plus for this location. Luisa and her daughter Susi were spectacular landlords from start to finish and the apartment was one of the most lovely ones I have had the opportunity to live in. I spent a whole year here and would’ve stayed on if I could have. Chamberi would still be my top choice if I moved back to Madrid and the apartment was one of few places I saw during my time there was modern, bright, clean, and incredibly well located near all the fun areas but situated in a charming residential one that’s slowly gentrifying. It’s also near a big park which is a big plus, also great for those who enjoy running and playing tennis. I would use Charming Rents again in a heartbeat. Thank you! Gracias!
Location is a typical Madrid neighbourhood, walking distance to trendy Malasana and other points of interest. Area also has decent amount of bars, restaurants etc. Would stay at this apartment again.
