This three-bedroom loft apartment located in the 6th floor of an old stately building is in a quiet street one minute away from Argüelles metro. The principal bedroom has a 1.35×1.90m bed, en-suite bathroom and built-in 2x2m closets. The second bedroom has a 1×1.90 m bed, 1.50×1.70m wardrobe and a window over the terrace. The third bedroom has a 80×1.90m truckle bed and a built-in wardrobe.
The three bedrooms have windows, air conditioning, fans, closets and a little desk. The open plan kitchen has glass-ceramic hob, oven, microwave, dishwashing, washing machine, toaster, juicer, coffee maker, silverware and other cooking utensils. There is a TV in the living room and wifi all over the apartment. The wooden floor terrace, where you can find flowerpots, is perhaps the nicest area of the flat. It is a quiet space that can be used as dining room during spring and summer. Natural gas is used for heating and there is air conditioning. There is a doorman as well as a buzzer that can be used to allow access to the building from the apartment.
Argüelles is one of the most valued areas to live in Madrid, because it is a commercial area and because of its proximity to attractions such as the Paseo del Pintor Rosales, Templo de Debod and Parque del Oeste. No car is needed as everything is nearby: there are plenty of bars, nightclubs, cafés, and restaurants… The neighbourhood is safe and it is very easy to travel in and out of given that metro stations, taxis, and buses can all be found within walking distance. If you want to see Madrid from a bird’s eye view, you can take the Teleférico very near (in Paseo del Pintor Rosales) and go to the zoo or to the Parque de Atracciones (amusement park).

I had the pleasure of living at Andrés Mellado while I was studying for over year, and enjoyed every moment in this spacious and beautiful apartment. From the start, the hosts took care of everything for us – the place was new, fully furnished, and spotless, and we had everything we needed from bedsheets, to cutlery, fresh towels, and even an iron and ironing board! The location was phenomenal too. Arguelles is a beautiful neighborhood located close to all the action, Plaza de España, Grand Via, Sol, Malasaña, Palacio Real, and Casa de Campo are all a short walk away. By far the highlight of the apartment was the gigantic terrace where we spent most of our time during the spring and summer months – it’s even more beautiful than the pictures show! Overall, a great experience with wonderful hosts who were always there to help with any problems.
