I had a wonderful stay in this studio. The apartment itself was modern, comfortable, and clean, with a great view and in a good building. It included sheets, towels, and all the necessary kitchenware, which made the move-in easy and the bi-weekly cleaning service was also a huge plus. The neighborhood is very nice, with a park just across the street. It is very well communicated and in a really nice part of the city with shops and restaurants/bars walking distance. Luisa was a gracious host, always available and helpful in every situation. I would absolutely recommend Charming Rents!

I lived in the apartment for 13 months during my studies in Madrid. It is a perfect place to live in Madrid if you like a great park for running, reading, relaxing in a park, that is across the street. Lovely little restaurants and bars with terraces (but no noise in the evening) and a wonderful host like Luisa will make you feel like home. Looking at the pictures of this lovely studio makes me feel homesick. The view from this flat on the 15th floor is beautiful and goes all the way up north to the mountains outside of Madrid (great climbing up their too and reachable by the normal bus). Enjoy sunsets every evening while sitting at the large window. Other details: Metro and Bus station, shopping within walking distance Walk to the center of Madrid in 15min Yes I loved living there and can only warmly recommend you to stay there too! I stayed in this studio for 3 months from October to December 2010. Luisa was a wonderful hostess who ensured my stay was extremely comfortable by providing a beautifully furnished apartment with all the utensils and crockery required at an affordable price. The apartment was always spick and span and very professionally maintained with fresh towels and clean beddings. I was very impressed. I would definitely choose Charming Rents again if I had to. My experience in searching for an apartment to rent in Madrid was made very easy thanks to Charming Rents. Luisa Salama was very helpful in locating an affordable studio for me during one semester of study. My favorite feature was the cleaning service once a week! This particular building is very safe and in a great neighborhood. I´d recommend it again.

I recently spent one month (Sept 2009) at the Gran Via apartment and was very happy to discovery its central location – so close to everything that’s essential to getting to know Madrid quickly. The great restaurants, shopping, boutiques and nightlife were minutes away in Chueca, Malasana and Gran Via. All the important museums like the Prado, Reina Sofia and Thyssen – Bornemisza were within walking distance and most of all the Palacio Real, Plaza Mayor and Puerta del Sol were minutes away on foot. I never once took the metro, although they were only blocks away from the apartment, because I so enjoyed walking everywhere and seeing the major sites as I was getting from one to the other. The apartment was beautifully furnished, clean, sunny, quiet and comfortable with all the amenities one would require to have the feeling of being in your own home. There was wifi internet, telephone, TV, DVD, washing machine and air conditioning. I cooked at home quite frequently and kitchen was well equiped with dishes, cutlery, microwave, stove/oven , fridge and all the amenities one would need to prepare an entire dinner. The sofa bed was comfortable and linens and towels were supplied. Eva the owner of the apartment was extremely wonderful in helping to make my stay enjoyable and went out of her way to make sure that everything in the apartment was functioning and available for my convenient use. The apartment is great for long or short stays and certainly beats paying the high rate in a hotel. The next time I am in Madrid I will definitely be staying at the Gran Via apartment again. Me ha encantado la semana que he pasado en el estudio la verdad que valió la pena, me ha gustado mucho todo, es un piso muy cómodo y muy bien organizado con todo lo indispensable para vivir, tambien he de destacar el olor que era muy agradable y el ambiente que se respira, la verdad está muy bien situado en pleno centro y la dueña del piso, Eva, muy amable una chica muy simpática, servicial y atenta en todo momento. En definitiva, nos vamos muy contentos del lugar y seguro que repetiremos y lo recomendaremos a todos nuestros amigos, así que si estás buscando un sitio bueno, seguro y cómodo´, éste es el tuyo, un saludo y gracias a charmingrents y su equipo tan profesional.

En el estudio de la calle Desengaño 4, se tiene la oportunidad de vivir la experiencia madrileña a flor de piel, debido a su centrica ubicacion, mi experiencia viviendo en el estudio puedo decir que ha sido maravillosa. Empzare por agradecer el trato tan amable y profesional que he recibido por parte de Luisa por medio de Charmingrent, yo elegí el piso desde que me encontraba en Mexico. Y al llegar a Madrid, he tenido el honor de conocer a Eva la dueña del piso, quien por cierto es una chica sensacional! quien me ha brindado su apoyo y amistad. El piso era justamente lo que yo imaginaba, lo que esperaba y mas que nada lo necesitaba, se encotraba en perfecto orden y limpieza, tiene una decoracion divina y olía muy rico. La manera en que esta planeado el estudio es muy practica, todo esta organizado de tal manera que hace muy confortable la estancia ahí. Tiene todo lo necesario para vivir, la cocina esta totalmente equipada con electrodomésticos y lavadora, tiene aire acondicionado y calefaccion, el baño es muy cómodo y tiene una tina para relajarse, el internet que es ahora una herramienta tan necesaria, el sofá-cama es tan comodo que no he extrañado mi cama en Mexico! Recomiendo ampliamente el estudio a la persona que esté interesada en alquilarlo. Es un lugar al cual he podido llamar dulce hogar. Alejandra Gomez Aranza, Mexico

I had the pleasure of living at Andrés Mellado while I was studying for over year, and enjoyed every moment in this spacious and beautiful apartment. From the start, the hosts took care of everything for us – the place was new, fully furnished, and spotless, and we had everything we needed from bedsheets, to cutlery, fresh towels, and even an iron and ironing board! The location was phenomenal too. Arguelles is a beautiful neighborhood located close to all the action, Plaza de España, Grand Via, Sol, Malasaña, Palacio Real, and Casa de Campo are all a short walk away. By far the highlight of the apartment was the gigantic terrace where we spent most of our time during the spring and summer months – it’s even more beautiful than the pictures show! Overall, a great experience with wonderful hosts who were always there to help with any problems.

Thanks for all of your work there. I know that all of the people that stayed there absolutely loved it and it´s a shame to have to let it go. SolFocus

We’ve been the first lucky customers in this apartment. The lady from Cahrming rentsa has been definitely.. well… charming! She’s been always willing to help and full of answers to our many questions. That’s customer care! The apartment doesn’t need any comments as it speaks for itself: lovely location, wonderful furniture, absolutely fabulous comfort. Just one stain on an otherwise perfect setup: there was no scolapasta! Being italian this was a bit of a disappointment… Anyway, if I ever come back to Madrid, this will definitely be a location to consider
